"In my work, I wanted to take a look at the body in the crowd, which becomes the 'matter' for this complex 'organism' that is the human mass. I am interested in what enables individuals, who differ in many ways (for example in terms of gender, religion, nationality, or lifestyle), to gather and form a community. I am interested in the moment of identification with the mass that leads to anonymity and the withdrawal of individual responsibility. Functioning within a collective makes it easy to cross the boundaries and rules set by the community. The crowd introduces change, modifies social models, makes revolutions, and creates the impossible.”
