Biography of the artist: Julia Turbacz



Julia Turbacz (born 2002 in Tarnobrzeg) is an emerging Polish artist currently studying in her fourth year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (ASP Gdańsk). In her artistic practice, she works with painting, drawing, and photography.

Her work is strongly shaped by reflection on the inner self: Turbacz uses various media as means of expressing personal emotions and subjective experiences. In doing so, she succeeds in translating individual experiences into a visual language that invites the viewer to reflect. Since 2024, she has been presenting her works regularly in the Gdańsk art scene.
